Carried over from other thread.

Finding a standard pressure oil pump is proving more difficult that i thought. Not only are the HV a LOT cheaper for some reason, an oil pump full stop is proving difficult to locate

Anyone got an opinion on this? JP Standard? Price seems good too. I have however read differing opinions on JP. Are there other options/recommendations?

I think its a good one.JP are very respected ,but as with everything must be fitted properly.

Standard pumps are one of the reason Holden V8's used to chew out cams. Alloy housing wore out. CAsr iron hosuing is the go, save the alloy ones for original restos!
