I've got a set of aftermarket reverse sensors for my VY Ute. The problem is I'm not sure where to put them. The instructions say to put the outer ones 12 to 15 cm from the edge but I've only got 10.(it's the 2 rear bumpers)
Can I put them closer to the edge and will it make a difference in the sensitivity. As well where do I place the inner 2 without being effected by the tow bar?
Were they available as an extra on this model and if so, what was the positioning?

Any help is appreciated.

cheers...bluHJ

I don`t think utes came out with factory fitted sensors, if you back into your garage for parking i would put them in the middle of the bumpers or toward the outer edge.

Thanks Cloudy. I wasn't sure if they were an option. I'm just concerned that if I put them too close to the edge of the bumper, they may be TOO sensitive.
I'll have to think about it. May even put them on the wife's VX sedan instead.
