Hey I am new to this forum. I have been watching it for quite some time now. You lot have had some very helpfull hints over the years.
Here is one for you to scratch ya heads ova.
I have an XW gs 250 motor with 2V head, sedan Automatic and want to change it to a manual. I have been offered a busted 97 XH longreach 1tonne tradesman ute. Haven't seen it yet but was wondering if the clutch and brake pedals will fit the XW?

In a word No. You need an XW/XY manual pedal setup for starters the XH has a cable clutch and XW's are hydraulic. I know where there lies one of those.

Don't get an XR/XT one as they are different again and don't match the firewall due to the XR/XT having a different brake booster.

It's also a pity that the XH 5 speed won't fit the XW either unless you can source an XF T5 bell housing (quite rare)and a custom gearbox cross member.
