Hi all

I'm reassembling the HT front end at the moment and have come to refurbing the calipers, replacing the discs and fitting new wheel bearings. What colour should the calipers and hubs be? I didn't really notice any colours on any of the brake and hub parts when they were pulled apart other than the usual rusty brown

Thanks

Peter

i might be wrong here but i recon most calipers come unpainted from factory. i once believe it or not on a rwc had my calipers picked for being painted, when i quizzed him about it he said it was to do with heat cooking the paint an being a potntial hazard. he then said theres only a couple of companies who can legally paint there calipers like brembo. just goin on what r/w guy told me. hopefully some help to ya

After putting the kits through them today it looks like they may have had some sort of plating from the factory which was well worn away. There is caliper paint available now though
