Anyone interested in one? I have had to design and make one, so I am in a position to be able to make the next one more economically now that I have invested in materials. I use 2.0mm low sheen aluminium sheet. This material can be polished to a mirror finish.
The one I made was for an FB ute, with a new capacity of 53 litres and as I understand that is the same tank FE-EK ute, van, wagon. If it is only minimal design difference, I could make sedan also. I fitted baffle, pickup, sump plug, outlet NPT thread boss
I can add EFI internal fuel pump and regulator screw in plate also at extra cost. This would allow a standard type late Commodore fuel pump to be fitted.
Cost would start at $1100, and I don't supply fuel sender or fuel pump or polishing. The tank I make would bolt straight in to a stock car.
I will put a pic up of this tank later. |

Someone asked about why you would fit a Commodore fuel pump.
Main reason would be to run any fuel injected motor. Any injected Commodore V6, V8, Gen3 etc. |
