Evening all,
I am currently having my HT Premier repainted, have removed the front windscreen and discovered a lot of rust in the channel around the screen. No great surprise,I was expecting at least some in the usual place along the bottom edge, but have a few pin holes in the top edge also. I have a good rust repair man onto it, but we need to remove the front of the hood lining to be able to weld the pin holes without damaging the hood lining. Hence this requires removing the rear vision mirror, and I can't remember how it's done.
Anyone have the answer?

It is meant to be a knock out stem. Give it a good hard pull & it should 'click' out of its base. The base itself is held to the body with self tappers.

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0
