Getting so close now. Bet you can't wait to drive it up the street. |
Cheers,

Finally got a start on the dash fascia. It took longer to set this up in the mill than cut the 6 rough holes. Now the hours of machining begin. This may take a while... Basic Gauge holes done. Not bad considering I can only take 0.25mm of material off each time. There's about 4 hours there just taking these from the holesaw cut size to finished size. Still need to machine the slot for the LED light panel.. Then I'll take it out and set it up again for final machining.. Edited by user Monday, 12 December 2016 3:15:02 PM(UTC)

Do you have a roll of that felt tape for wrapping wiring looms up? Stops them squeaking against painted areas (like they do when wrapped in nitto tape). Reason I ask, is it may be wise to wrap a few layers around the speedo cable, to prevent a potential annoying rattle later on. |
Cheers,

Anything to keep things quiet and cosy..

Tailgate straps sorted for now. Still need to make some retaining bolts for the body end of the straps.

Drivers side lighting all buttoned up. Passenger side harness run across the car and terminated ready to go. I need to find one lousy grommet to get it finalised. Another box ticked
