I am considering buying an LX Hatch. The vehicle however has the ID tags removed for some strange reason. I have had the history checked on the vehicle and it so far checks out ok. Could someone help me to clarify the following number? I would like to found out the other relevant numbers.
Chassis number on vehicle:CLX054854M

The chassis number only tells that its the 54854th Melbourne chassis for an LX. C is the third revision of ADRs for an LX, so its a later car.
The long skinny VIN tag and the body tag have paint, trim and engine info.
