Vt -VY do sedan towbars fit wagons as well on these models?

Just checking on ebay and it does appear the one design fits both body styles, that will save me some dosh my VT has a 2100kg set up and my VY wagon a 1200kg ,looks like swap over time before I sell the VT !

The 2100kg tow bar kit's have different part numbers for sedan & wagon, dunno what the difference is though.

The VY won't have a centre bearing heat shield and the fuel tank insulation, the only other thing according to the parts list is to do with the super lift shock absorbers.

Sedan p/no 92140089
Wagon 92140139

Also the sedan has insulators on the shockies and the wagon doesn't.

I have found some swap and some do not, I am going to talk with the supplyer of my 2100 bar as the manufacturer is close to where I live , if its not a direct swap they should be able to modify it.

the vr wagon/sedan were different so i imagine the vy would be also.

The thing with Vr type models is the location of the spare wheel on the sedan is up on the side , vt onward both are in the floor laying down so are simular in shape , they do list VT-early VY as being able to fit but not series 2 for some reason, this could vary for aftermarket towbars as to wether they can be interchangable, I will find out for certain this week.
