Here's the page from the HK book, I'm pretty sure HT's and HG's are the same as HK's. The resonators are about 300 long and about 200 wide.

thanks amunro327 the reason i asked for hg is that i've been told that ht and hg resonators have the inlets centre as to hk are off set as the picture you posted .the ht parts book seems to have a lot of hk components displayed .but i did access a hg book today and has the same picture as hk ht books so off set the resonator it will be unless someone here knows more thanks again amunro327 as the sizes helped |

Careful with that logic. It is not uncommon for the HK images, pictures, drawings etc to appear in the HT-G manuals or literature. I would compare part numbers for a start.A good example is the images of the rear quarter panel in the HT book is the same one as in the HK book. As far as the resonators go there were a number of them. The original ones for HK 327 being 7449065&6,then 2808619&20 and for the HT-G 350 were 2805763&4. By the time you got to HG I would guess the HK replacement part would have been the same as the HG part despite any physical difference in the two. That was the case at least for the rear muffler for the HK replacement you got a HT one.But all that said still has'nt answered your question were they physically the same or not.....Jack

Still on the 81837s.If it is of any help. My 1980 Lukey Mufflers catalogue seems to suggest that the HK resonator and the HK rear muffler as different to the HT-G. Their listing numbers for the HK were different numbers to the HT-G. As well the genuine part numbers they quote they were replacing were different HK to HT-G. So I suspect if Lukey considered these parts as Physically the same HK to HT-G and interchangable that their part numbers for each would all be the same listing numbers too, but no.....Jack
