Hi everyone, I'm looking at an HX LE at the moment and weighing up what it would cost to get it in the condition I'd want it so I can add that to the cost price to get a (very) rough idea on costs. The first thing is its had a respray and no longer has the gold pin stripes on it. Can someone tell me if these were painted on when new or if they are decals? Also the airconditioning unit has no belt or gas, as it's still the old style one whats needed to be done to it to get it to use current gas and does anyone know a rough price to do this? Also the electric windows do work but are slow and need a hand any ideas on how this can be fixed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. stripe kits and stencils are avail through rare spares, a/c belt should be avail and regas change could be a couple of hundred and may need other unknown repairs price may vary in different workshops. Either way its a rare car, its old and you will only pay what you think is a fair price, but there will be plenty of other buyers waiting for the same oppertunity.
