I've been trying to source HJ Statesman rear drum brake pistons (or push-rods) - the short rod that goes between the wheel cylinder and the brake shoe. Rare Spares do not sell them, nor do ABS. I can get around it, but I find it suprising they cannot be purchased new. Are they common to later model Holdens?
Thanks

What's wrong with your old ones ?
In 45 years working on Holdens (38 of those professionally) I've never needed to replace those push rods. If yours are lost, broken or too rusty, 2nd hand ones should be plentiful.
