A guy rings me up says he wants to offload a good running 186 and Cable HZ clutch 4 sp , hear running for $200. sounds ok

i goes have a look.
has firing order 142653...186P,

guy says its a stroker crank.

the last time i saw 1 221 ford crank in a holden 6 the crank snout came out the front a little bit with a ford balancer. this one had no visible snout and holden balancer.

i switched the order around to the std holden firing order and it wouldn't run...

any ideas?
Old holdens brought on the spot, quick decision, cash paid.

I've seen this before on a stroked Holden 6. Possibly due to cam/crank clearance, they have ground the cam with cyls 1 & 6 TDCs swapped. If it runs with the leads connected in the 142653 order, it won't run any other way, because that's the way the cam is ground.

Are you sure it's 142653 & not 124653, it would be unusual to swap 2 & 4.

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0
