factory 4spd prem would be a fairly rare set up.

Definitely. Manual HQ 6cyl Premiers are common, but 4spd ones would be few and far between.

Personally, I think the 3.36 diff is the best for this combo.
Always thought the 3.55 was too short for a 202 auto.

for HQ-HZ,
202 + 4 sp i would go 3.36 and M20 box

for auto i would go 3.08 diff.

most L20 M40 HQ- HZ sedans and wagons i have wrecked are GU4 (3.08) and its a good combo
