Hi all, has anyone used the Rare Spares Monaro replacement panels? How do they fit up? I'm talking about the front half in front of wheel arch, will make my old girl look acceptable again if they are any good. Thanks for any replies.

They are a repair patch panel. You will need to have the tools, patience and experience to make them 'perfect'

Like buying a packet mix cake. You still have to cook it.

Mate a panel beater I know just fitted both sides and he wasn't happy with how much time it took to get them to an acceptable standard. My car needs the passenger side replaced and into the door jamb also. I got a custom made one made through deanonmonaro on eBay, which also included the return into the door jamb. Haven't fitted it yet but just sitting there it looks good. Will let you know how it goes when fitted.

Cheers Alex, appreciate the feedback. How does the custom job compare price wise?

Custom panel was $770 but that included the full return into the door jamb. He also makes the door jamb return separate to the quarter panel but I figured for a bit extra I could get the area I needed in 1 piece which will save me a bit of work joining pieces. Dean is easy to deal with and he will make custom pieces for you.
