Hi all. just wondering if anybody has the dimensions on a hz panelvan chassis, I would really like to know the measurement between the front shocks. I currently have the engine out and the front off and would like to get this pushed apart as to set up the wheelalignment. It is wearing the front inside tyes out and there is no adjustment left. Thanks all.

Your best bet would be to take it to a good chassis joint, they should know how far to go.

What are your alignment figures currently. It's more than likely a toe-in problem. I very much doubt your chassis is damaged enough to caused this wear.

It is a common myth that wear on the inside or outside edge of a tyre can only be caused by an incorrect camber setting. Wrong!! Toe-in has more effect on this type of wear than camber has. One thing you wont be short of is toe-in adjustment.

I've seen cars with 2 degrees POSITIVE camber, still wear on the INSIDE due to not enough toe-in. Have you got the figures from your last alignment ? If not just get it aligned by a pro.

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0
