AFAIK the towbars for VT/VX/VY/VZ sedan & wagon all interchange.

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

They come in two flavours, 1600kg and 2100kg.

Both require the installation of...

1/ Tail shaft centre bearing heat shield.
2/ ADR label, different one for each type.
3/ Insulation in the spare wheel well.

First 2 can come off the VY, you are supposed to use new bolts for the heat shield and the insulation is just Dynamat type stuff which in the wagon should be put on the left side of the spare wheel well vertical face to insulate against exhaust heat.

The 2100kg req's the use of 2 shackles.
The 2100kg also has a beefier spare wheel well brace, you'll be drilling holes.
The 2100kg req's the use of superlift rear shockers.

Basically whatever is on the VY has to go onto the VZ and don't forget to get the trailer wiring harness out of the VY. It runs from r/h tail light area to the trailer plug socket and will be obvious once you see it. If the VY is a goer you can reconnect it's tail light wiring back to stock because the trailer harness in only an extension.

Anything that you can't get can be bought at your friendly local Holden dealer.

I only say all of this because insurance companies have a way of dodging claims on minor issues.
