Hey Guys,
What do you know about these, ignoring the lid as it may not be original, it's apparently a 4.2 aircleaner but the snorkel is not actually cut, but has shorter end with end rib.

Also, a few times lately I've seen similar aircleaners listed with the HZ red decal but for 5.0 Litre but the base is the same as VC-WB type with extra hole for vac sensor in side, open and unused. Would these be just wrong lids/decals or possibly that the last of the HZ red motors and early blue motors were using the same bases as one was being phased out?

cheers

Looks like something that might be done to allow space for an LPG converter to bolt onto the left inner splash guard. I had to cut the locating tabs out of my air cleaner so I could reposition the air cleaner around a bit to miss the LPG converter, maybe this guy just cut the end off.

To me it looks like a Chev or Pontiac air cleaner from the 70s era. Maybe Holden used this air cleaner too but I can't see why.

I was thinking the same thing, it has the shorter snorkel and what you would normally see with clip-on air ducting. But I haven't seen one in this style or small size, US or Holden. Just curious, long gone now, was on ebay for sale. The guy said it had not been cut, can see end snorkel has lip molding.
