Hi all
I am about to change the rear shockies on my 77 Hz Prem (V8)and after a look I was wondering if there is a nut on the top of the shockie as there is very little room to get a tool up there as is a plate and the exhaust that makes it hard to even get your hand in there... Im hoping that the top of the shockies just screws in and bolts on the bottom
Thanks
Andy

Yup, there's a nut up there. Typically around the 17mm or 11/16th size. Try gripping the top section of the shock with multigrips, with a spanner on the nut.
Agree, its pretty tight in that area- esp with the exhaust/s to get in ya way as well.
That & some WD-40 should do the trick for ya. |
Attn camry drivers. The accelerator is the skinny pedal on the right. |

I invested in some decent ratchet spanners (in both metric and AF) some time ago and they are ideal for that nut.
