Hi I and doing up a 808 hg Monaro v8'i am wanting to know what coulour black as in satin flat (eg) the engine bay and cross member is and also the colour of the Saginaw box and engine thanks for any help

Interestingly enough the engine bay was done in a mixture of whatever GMH had lying around, it is known to vary between jet black (satin) and very dark grey. I think they called it GMH Chassis Black. I think the box and engine where chev rocket red. Do a search on this site I remember some of the experts posting on this subject before..
