Gday Guys and Gals,
Was wondering if anyone has done or knows about the difference in the ride height of a set of lowered springs coming from a V8 VH into a 6, is there enough of a difference in weight between the V8 and 6 to affect how "low" the springs compress? and are the springs manufactured differently between a 6 and V8 ??

Thanks for any and all comments on this.......
Cheers Barry

There's a good 1.5" difference on stock springs (ie, dropping a V8 into a 6 with stock springs will drop the front a further 1.5" or so) from my experience. It would be far less pronounced with harder springs though.
Up until the introduction of the Gen3, Commodore V8 front springs were different to the 6s.
Cheers,

Mick
