the passenger side rear door on the VK wagon is stuck, the handles inside and outside won't work. is there a way to get it open? short of oxy axe.

This has happened a few times to friends of mine with VB-VL commodores (but never to me).

There's a couple of things to try to get it open.

Have someone hold the outer handle up (make sure the door is unlocked) and from the back seat, try to kick it open.

if this doesn't work, then pull out the back seat, pull the pinchweld off the door frame, undo the armrest & lock escutions, then pull the door trim off. This will let you access the lock internals, where you can hopefullywork out what's gone wrong (or at least how to trigger the catch release).
