I feel a goose asking this question as there has to be a simple answer but the aerial on my WB has broken and I want to replace it how in the hell do I get it out??? My Statesman has an access panel on the inner guard which allows me to get to the electric aerial but there is nothing like that on my inner guards and surely I don't have to remove the guard????? Please help!!!!! Cheers MS

Electric aerials pull out from underneath, most older manual aerials are removed from the top. With the bonnet up, all you have to do is be able to get your hand & spanner/multigrips in to remove the nut from the base and then feed the cable through the hole into the footwell & tighten the nut. Make sure when you re-install a new antenna the grommet is positioned correctly as this is one of the most common causes of a rusty passenger floor pan.

If it is a manual aerial that has been installed from underneath (i.e. nut on top), it will come out, you'll just need some patience.
