HQ Salisbury axles into Borg Warner diff

I'm putting a Borg Warner diff out of a EL wagon into my HQ tonner
Can anyone tell me if I'm able to put my HQ Salisbury axles into the Borg Warner diff?
The EL diff is a 78 series, the HQ diff is a tonner diff, so they both should be 28 spline, axle bearings should be the same, the only drama I can see is maybe length, the HQ housing is around 10mm longer, but loosing 5mm of length from each axle shouldn't be a problem
Does anyone know if its possible??

HQ axles are the same length either side. Ford axles are long & short.

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0 |
