Hi I have come across a 1968 hk ute. I need help verifying it was a factory 307 and what ever else you guys can tell me. Here's what I got so far.....


Holden hk utility 1968 last registered 1994
Eng: 30741801K0111 block not present but all bolt ons are. Was last registered with this number and the only number in Vic roads records.

Firewall: HK16279M has a double "M" stamped. Second one underneath

Body number: 80380-16146M the start of the number sequence is stamped over the "y" on the end of the word body.

Trim 510-18e

Paint 568-9562

Has correct hole in firewall for speedo low and passenger side of wiper motor
Has heat shield bolts in rear above muffler
Factory front drum non assisted
Factory LSD 2.78 sticker also in drivers door jam
Steering box stamped 14E8

Any help or other indicators to look for much lay appreciated regards Adrian.

Sounds like one to me but could also be a modified 6cyl one. Engine number is certainly a Dandenong number but may also be the original.
