I have seen plenty of HQ/J/X/Z's with vinyl roof but never a WB. Thats not to say there never was any with that option though.

There were dealers doing vinyl roof fitments to VC-VH Commodores, and the WB was in the same era, so it's entirely possible there could be some dealer fit ones out there.

The chrome separation strips on the commodores I've had a close look at seems to be hand made from a generic section, as the profile matches none of the other trim on the cars, and I've seen several types/fitment differences. However, the parts book does list the chrome trims for VC-VH rear pillars, and there's one guy who just popped up on my facebook page with a VC that has them (red paint + white vinyl roof - ordered that way from the dealer - car has been in his family since new).
Cheers,

Mick

The WB parts book lists 7 vinyl roof colour options available for Statesmans and also lists the trim.
The trims run across the C pillar between the rear side window and rear window about level with the deck lid, part numbers 92002945 and 92002944.
If you google "WB Satesman" and select images, there are a lot of pictures showing the trim between the vinyl roof and body.
I don't know how rare these are, but hope the above helps.
Cheers,
Steve
