gday all just wondering if i install a ht gts dash with standard tell tale wiring and change the sender units to vdo type for oil and temp as thats all i need to start a new engine will this work the gauges without changing the wiring.i know it sounds a bit short cuttish but need them in a hurry

I fitted a GTS dash into my HQ, so I'm not 100% sure it applies to other models. Kept the original wiring and just modified the connections at the temp & oil pressure gauges.
Only problem I found was that the temp gauge would go to 'hot' when cranking the engine.Went out as soon as she fired up.
Just as the temp light would come on during cranking.
Attn camry drivers. The accelerator is the skinny pedal on the right.
