Hi all, been a while since I have been on but I'm stumped as to this problem I have. So... HR 186 Toyota 5 spd. ( dellow conversion ) Had to pull out the 186 to have some problems rectified so while this is happening I have a red 202 stocky in. It all fitted no worries but the problem I have now is thrust bearing noise when using the clutch. Easy I thought, must be the "extreme brand" H\D clutch worn ( no shudder) which I noticed had some wear on the fingers when I put it in. Anyway, new clutch in now (a lot lighter on the pedal) and still have bearing noise when depressing the clutch pedal. Only thing I can think of is the hydraulic actuator that pushes the clutch fork ??? I would gladly accept any advice. Steve.

Had this problem in a LH with a dellow Supra to V8 conversion. Bearing noise, difficult to declutch and wear on the clutch fingers. Went hydraulic with no change. After a lot of money and stuffing around, I went automatic. Never worked it out but I suspect it may have been excessive end float in the crank as it was the only thing I never checked. Good luck with it.

Another thing I didn't check, which may not be the problem in your case, was alignment of the bellhousing with the box and/or block. Regards. Max
