Looking at the brochure that sold on ebay it appears that the HK commercial vehicles with the 307 were optioned with the power glide as mandatory, It mentions a heavy duty 3 speed manual transmission which I guess would have been optioned for the Holden 6 but no 4 speed option, can anyone confirm otherwise?

When the ute and van were released (3/68) this was true, however after July 68 you couold get the heavy duty 4 speed behind 6 and V8. They did not reprint the brochure with the update.

The 3spd is the all synchro box which was optional behind 6cyl in HK (except in GTS). I have a HK Kingswood sedan optioned with one of these. |
