what to fit pcv on my 308 with cast heads, have heard its better to fit pcv on left
rocker cover to release crank pressure as the right rocker cover is better suited
for vacum set up such as a catch can or just a breather cap.
also do run pcv in rocker cover to the outlet in rear of carby, can anyone help me on this i have fitted pcv on right rocker cover to rear of carby and my oil pressure gauge is reading a lot higher than when i just had breather caps on each rocker cover.

The factory setup is PCV valve on passenger side rear with hose attached to side of the air cleaner. The type of carb and filter will determine how the hose connects to the air intake system.

You only have to be in front at the end of the race.

Depends on the series and model, also whether it has factory air or not on some.

Exactly Byron. Perfect example is WB & VH/VK - same era 308, but the rocker covers are a mirror image with the oil cap & PCV holes.
Cheers,

Mick

HJ and LH are the same, ie on opposite sides. Can't remember if the cap moves or not but the PCV and breather swap over.
