The wives 2001 Astra TS has ignition barrel needs replacing for the 3rd time. Is there a better barrel available other than the original supplied GM part??? Dealer told me the last time that the barrels were now modified but this one only lasted about 2 years. Any help appreciated. AL.

Thanks for the replies, the dealer told me it was a common fault with the TS model and a modification was made by the supplier but a few?? on the parts shelves probably slipped thru the recall system. I know of a couple of other owners with the same problem. AL.
