2005 caprice steer lock key unit will not turn to on position stuck in tamworth parked car went back will not budge any advice welcome please been super hot here today could that be problem ? Before this check power train warning light was on but could find no problem drove 300kms then disconnected battery when connect again light off now this problem ?

You will find tumberlers have packed it in, common problem for VT to VZ locks.
