Whilst I am putting a chev and v8 powerglide into my hk I am also chasing up the original date code engine and powerglide. I will be shelving these parts or fitting them while I chase up the v8 parts required, as its being done within a budget it may take some time. I have the engine and now have most of the powerglide. I picked it up today and it was mixed with a hg trimatic so not sure of the parts I selected. I have some pics(sorry about the size)and was wondering if anyone could help me out with whats missing and what parts are wrong. I know the gearbox itself is correct with torqe converter, the lines to radiator, inspection cover, trans crossmember and flexplate are all corect too. Not sure on the little bellcrank or the accelerator linkage. There was a pivot I removed from the inlet manifold too thats next to the bellcrank, does anyone know what its for, kickdown maybe? Can anyone post pics of what missing or send me an email please, I'm sure there is linkages missing from the column and also under the bellhousing to selector, and I dont know if there is a kickdown either? Sorry about all the questions, having trouble finding a manual to sort it, thanks in advance

Before I comment I am not expert but have gone through similar things with my car. Here goes. On your last photo the accelerator box (mounted to the firewall) looks wrong. I thought the chev HK's had a threaded rod with a trunnion on the end that mounted to the box and runs to the rod that mounts to the firewall. Also this rod in your first photo doesn't look like the extension (that goes to the carby) is long enough. Mine appears longer then the one in your photo.
