Has anyone done this, and if so are there any special Motor Transport (QLD) rulings in regards to doing this? i.e. is a compliance plate a solution?
What about rear left and right hand sides with retractable seat belts? (No rear seatbelts fitted to this car) Any info would be appreciated.

Will almost certainly need Engineering and mod plate, plus body mods. For this exact reason if I ever build another W size Holden ute I won't be using a HQ body as there is no provision ion them for retractables, but HJ-WB do.

Dunno if its any help, but I've got inertia reels in the front of my Skylark hardtop.

The reels are hidden behind the rear side trim panels.
I'd be happy to forward some pics if you think they would help.

Cheers,

Chris

Thanks for the replies and offers of photos, I will probably stay with original front belts for now and consider this idea once I have had the car on the road again.
