Does anyone have any advice about how to install a replacement input shaft seal on the HQ power steering box?

Anyone have a parts diagram for the box?

Ive got to install the seal in a box that has had the seal removed...Ive got the seal replacement kit, but not sure which parts go onto the input shaft or in what order????

It is a pain. It actually presses in from the inside of the box, rather than from the outside (you will wreck it). There is a slight lip that stops it from going in from the outside.

In fact, before you even try, go to an engineering / diesel mechanic shop and get them to ID and source a couple of extras. This seal is the main one that goes, and is only about $5 on its own (rather than $60+ for a set. Plus you are likely to bend it trying to get it in place, so having an extra is handy.
