G'day All,
Now I have my premier front end on the tonner, I was thinking of getting rid of the bull bar and putting a normal bumper on, I think the 4 poster is a bit garish and austentatious, and being a tonner with the HQ front I basically took the easy route and put an HQ Premier front on, so I need to know which bumper? did the HQ have a different bumper for the premier?, I know the later models had a different one but I've only seen one type on HQ's, and will the later model (HX -WB I think ?)premier bumpers fit?(the ones with the rubber strip on them, they look very nice)Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

All HQ are the same. The later ones fit but will look silly as the HQ has a close fit bar that recesses into the guards and nosecone, whereas the HJ-HZ bar sits proud of the guards and nosecone. |

Hi Guys.
I might be stating the obvious here, but the HQ 1 tonner front b/bar is different to the normal Belmont, Kingswood, Premier type.

Hi Russ,
Did you get the headlight cups off Peter?
All HQ "sedan" (or non tonner) front bars are the same. The 73/74 models had orange indicator lenses whereas the 71/72 models had white indicator lenses and the indicators were also the parklights.

If you've got the Prem front on it now then you have to use a HQ non-commercial front bar otherwise you won't have any front indicators! |
