Hi, I have a yellow needle GTS clock that only works for about 15 seconds after "pinging" it. After it stops, pinging it again gives another 15 seconds. Is this repairable? Does anyone know someone in WA that could fix it?

the clock in my vk did the same. a spray with wd 40 seems to have worked, had to ping it a few times and fiddle with the gears (gently) for a few minutes, once it got going it has kept perfect time for the last couple months.
will have to give it an oil with light machine oil soon as the wd40 will dry out.

Common for the capacitors to dry out on these. Simple to repair. Not sure who in your area does them though. Any gauge repairer or anyone handy with simple electronics should be able to do it.

Try AISAT http://www.aisat.com.au/, they were in Osborne Park but looks like they've moved to Canning Vale.

I used them several years ago to recalibrate some old gauges and was very happy with their service and prices.

Thanks for all the responses, I'll give Aisat a go and let you know how they get on.
