Does anyone know if there is an exploded diagram of the bulky heater unit that sits on the firewall of a ht holden 6.I am unsure if all the parts are there including any gaskets or seals. Not even the genuine workshop manual shows it.Rare spares can't help much with aftermarket parts either.

The heater core was under consideration for production to suit HKTG. It has been rejected at present due to the high cost. Radiator repairers seem to do the supply OK. Most of the seals around the box and vents were foam rubber. The tap is another complex part that finding a reliable supplier is an ongoing problem. Sorry that Rare Spares cannot help you for now and will advise members if any parts become available.

There's a full listing of parts in the parts book, under group 9.779. I don't think there is an exploded view in any of the shop manuals or parts books.

What is it exactly that you are after? I restoed mine a little while ago and have photos etc. I purchased the parts from that auction site (for the perimeter seal) and then made the rest myself from foam that I picked up at the upholsters

I've downloaded the parts book online and even it's not that clear but it may be handy for future use. What I guess I require is gaskets to assemble heater box to firewall, gasket to join the heater box halves together(maybe it is just sealant) plus cushioning for radiator core.As Ausjacko says some could be made at home.Prefer to buy than make them.Maybe Ausjacko could point me in the right direction. Thanks to all of you fellas for your help.
