A previous owner has cut 110mm speaker holes in the b pillars of my wb tonner. I want to fill the holes but I'm unsure whether to cut a complete section from another cab and weld them in or to cut out filler panels. The holes are rough and have several smaller drill holes around the perimeter.

In Victoria at the moment cars are being knocked back for roadworthies for speaker holes cut in rear parcel shelves, on the basis that it is a structural modification. For B pillars it would be the same situation, but of even higher importance. I don't know the structure in that area well enough to be specific, but whatever you do, it needs to be a high quality repair, both for a roadworthy, and for your own safety.
