I have a 'rat trap'type clutch in my HG ute with the standard 6 cyl 3 speed manual. I will be changing this to Chev/ saginaw 4 speed set up with a hydraulic clutch using a Dellow clutch master and slave cylinder & fittings.
Should I source a HK hydraulic clutch pedal box or are there off the shelf parts available to modify the HG 'rat trap'pedal box?

You could use a HG GTS350 manual pedal setup, which you should be able to achieve using HK bits. I can't remember the exact details, but a quick look at HK and HG parts catalogues should sort you out. |

HK clutch master set-up from a std 3-sp crash box is the same. They used the same pedal on all HK/T/Gs with a hydraulic clutch. You may get away with simply drilling the extra hole in the all-synchro pedal.
From memory there should be dimples in the correct spot for drilling the holes to mount the master cyl.

Tony, I think that you have missed the whole point of my post.
I believe that you can keep your pedal box & you just need to drill a hole in the pedal arm.
Cut the necessary holes in the firewall & you're done.

Got it, so drill the hole in the pedal arm and fit a HK 'Pedal push rod' to connect the clutch master cylinder.

Resurrecting an older thread here. Is there a spring pulling the clutch pedal forward (away from the firewall) in the hydraulic set-up AND if so, what does the spring look like (I have two) and where does it attach? There is a small pin hole in the pedal but I can't recall where the other end of the spring attaches- just like I can't recall which spring to use. Cheers Jacko
