Hi All What is the consensus on when the change needle on the tacho started to appear in the Monaro; HT or HG or GTS? Cheers Jacko

Only GTS had the tacho unless you optioned it, Monaro never did unless U21 optioned. As far as i'm aware HT had the needle and HG didn't. |

Thanks HK. Had a look through the Monaro magic book. Page 59 has a photo in which you can just make out the shift needle. That car is a v8 GTS manual HT.

My late (6/70) HT GTS doesn't have a shift needle, which I believe may point to Holden transition to HG style in the last month or 2 of HT (the Tacho is dated 5/70). Does anyone else have the same?
