Is it an original radio, and if so is it an Air Chief 11, or 13?

What size and shape is the loose component?

I'd recommend getting a professional to repair it, unless you have some experience yourself.

with those markings, it's a capacitor.
it should be fairly obvious where it's missing from.
easily replaced for someone with the right skills.
