It should have cloth inserts in the bench seat and from memory upgraded instruments. Wheels are Rally Rims, not Monaro GTS rims. Monaro never had white on bonnet, maybe GTS sedan did. Can't recall if this was part of the Kingswood Sports pack or not. I have a brochure and ad for these cars somewhere. |

It probably isn't a Kingswood Sports as these are supposed to have cloth inserts. Dr Terry has one of these cars in Saffron Metallic. If you like send me photos of the plates and i'll get them checked out. I'll see if I can find the brochure. Value wise it is like a HT White Hot Holden, the value is not that different from other similarly optioned cars and condition will dictate its value more than it being a "Sports". 8N69RDJ395496Q is the VIN not DHQ99858M, that is the chassis number. |

Are you fellas talking of a "Sports Pack" option or the limited availability "Sports Trim" option ?
Sounds like the car in question is a sort-of HQ Monaro GTS sedan clone ... it's either a 1973 or 1974 build in a colour that is not common on a Kingswood, being "Purr-Pull" and the 38J trim code references a "Doeskin" interior with black accents.
As for the "Sports Trim" option, available only in 1974, it was really just an interior dress-up package which for the most part involved hounds-tooth cloth bench seat inserts and floor carpeting.
