Two different brands Lucas and Preslite.
I think there were at least two different Lucas motors as well.

Just a theory at the moment so tell me if I'm wrong or right.
I'm thinking Preslite motors were passivated zinc (gold) and Lucas motors were Silver/Blue zinc?

Mines a Lucas and there is no sign of gold passivation inside or out.
Inside is very clean and very silver/blue.
