Hi - looking for some assistance to identify this decal. I think it's from about a 1963 Holden, back of front seat decal. But I really have no idea. I first thought it was some kind of ash tray cover Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's not a seat decal. It an exterior door handle scratch plate. It should be made from anodised aluminium.
It will fit all HD to HG but I believe the one with the lion emblem is peculiar to HK-HG.

Rare Spares part DP1007 is the same as your sample. It suits HK-T-G. The HD-HR were just ribbed without the logo DP1006
