Genuine Holden steel wheels should have their part number & size stamped. The tyre needs to be removed to see it.

Part no. for the regular 5" x 14" rim is 2815162 (This was the standard Kingwood rim)
Part no. for the optional 6"x 14" rim is 2823652
Part no. for the One-Tonner heavy-duty 6" x 14" rim is 2824784
There was also the GTS style 6" x 14" rim & there are a few part numbers for those.

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

As above, HQ-WB are the same stud pattern and centre bore. That is why we had US and Canadian made Pontiac Rally rims and the 14x7" poly cast rims, plus the wire rims as options or standard on HQ-WB.

Thanks for the good info

I bought four rims last week, I was told they were HQ Liar unfortunately for me they didn't fit the HQ.

I've since learnt they may be early commodore hence all the question,

I don't want to fall into the same trap again. Hopefully he will take them back and refund my money

Commodore are very close but don’t fit they had a metric pattern. So many people claim they fit, they don’t.
