I’m close to getting my HG pano painted, I’m undecided on colour
The original colour is hawthorn green with white roof
I’m considering painting it in the original colours but I’m having trouble finding any pictures of holdens in hawthorn green
Does anyone have any pictures of a pano in this colour or a link?
Also does anyone know what this van would have been used for with this colour combination?
Cheers

Can you post the TRIM, PAINT & TOP numbers off the body ID plate.

I have several Hawthorn Greens listed, so those numbers will probably sell the story.

There literally no photos online of a holden in hawthorn green!
Maybe it’s an awful colour option!

There was some strange trims in HG from memory, some had some HK trim but can’t remember the exact details, I thought they had C or D trim though. I thought A trim was normal though for HG Belmont with bench seat.

16A appears in HK, HT & HG Belmonts. It is named 'Julep Green' for HK & just plain 'Green' in HT/HG.

The fact that it is a 2-tone paint scheme (Kashmir White roof) & Hawthorne Green being a fleet colour, indicates that it was a special order for a fleet.

I've had a bit of a look , but I can't find which company (or companies) used Hawthorn Green.

indeed 2 tone does seem unusual for a pv

I forgot to mention that during the search there were numerous 00026 White mentioned

With these numbers being so low I assume that these colours are from the very early model HOLDENS
