Hi Guys

Im planning on rebuilding a Torana rack, and looking for advice where to get a rebuild kit from, or contact with anyone that may know. So far I have only looked on Rare spares site, & they don't list anything.

Also any help identifying the differences between LH, LX & UC racks in the event I have to go through 2nd hand racks for parts. I'm sure I remember that there is difference of some kind between the models.

thanks for any advice

UC don’t use rubber mounts, that is an easy one to spot.

There was a steering ratio change that occurred in the second half of 1976. I will need to look up the service letters however I think the ratio was changed from 18:1 to 20:1.

Was that a rack ratio or a steering arm change like they did on Holden? The steering ratio changed on Holdens but it was done in the steering arms.

The change was in the steering rack. I have the list of all the parts that changed.
