Hello all
I'm looking into fixing my large Salisbury diff, VB sedan, after it went bang many years ago. I have a spare wagon housing here, I will us the centre and pinion into the sedan housing but I'm unsure on who has the best bearings to use.
I've seen a seller on eBay have listings for LH-LX and HQ-WB, but apparently neither of these can fit a Commodore VB-VK 5 litre
I would like to know a good brand so i can go to my local and order a set in.
Also, how easy is it to obtain a set of 28 spline axle bearings, I'm not sure if its part of the diff bearing kit. |
The Commodore SL/E fanatic. |

All bearings on HQ through to VK large Salisbury should be the same, bar the retainer on cab chassis axle bearings. |

I believe GMH has used both of these brands in our Holdens and packaged as Genuine replacement parts and I reckon you can't go wrong with either. FAG is another brand GMH has supplied as spare parts in the past but from memory they were made in Brazil.
