any ideas where one can get piccies of the inside of the engine which show filter and oil release plug at the bottom of the engine. similar to a haines book in detail?

for the sump plug you need a t45 torx bit and it under the motor and the oil filter is locate on the front of the engine under the exhuast manifold. it will be either a spin or oil filter or a cartridge one the do these with a 3/8 ratchet. unless its turb

Your Holden dealer should be able to help with a printout of the filter location from their " Microcat" system.Up to engine 20V0064 the filters were a cartridge type. 20V0065 they became a screw on type.Unfortunately their parts catalogues are only availa
